Brief essays that may or may not have any literary merit, or any merit, or tons of it, like a well decorated soldier of words, who happens to make ridiculous, yet gallant metaphors like that last one.
A "normal" guy. And an "anomaly". These two words do not go together...you get the point. I like writing, but it's a constant battle being you're own editor...i don't post a lot of what I would consider to be "my real stuff"
hearts resonate the difference
on these bleak nights
folklore, while seemingly absent
from these towns,
remain in places you'll never look,
nooks and crannies inside another child
with sunken eyes from lack of sleep.
