Brief essays that may or may not have any literary merit, or any merit, or tons of it, like a well decorated soldier of words, who happens to make ridiculous, yet gallant metaphors like that last one.
A "normal" guy. And an "anomaly". These two words do not go together...you get the point. I like writing, but it's a constant battle being you're own editor...i don't post a lot of what I would consider to be "my real stuff"
Sometimes fools hide in the periphery, the shadows...
other times on stage
with multi-colored lights
pulsating on their grand deeds and notes
while the captivated audience claps
little knowing they've just
been fooled by another
cloak and dagger,
another masked betrayer,
parading as a truth seeker...
